Shipping & Delivery

Dispatch

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days from our warehouse.

During busy periods or product launches, dispatch times may be slightly longer. We’ll always keep you informed.

Delivery (Australia – guide)

Standard shipping: Typically 2–8 business days after dispatch

Express shipping: Typically 1–3 business days after dispatch

Delivery times may vary for remote or regional areas.

Tracking

You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Address changes

If you need to update your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes can be made before dispatch. Once an order has shipped, address changes or redirects are not guaranteed and may incur a carrier fee.

International shipping

International shipping is not available at this time.

Sizing & Fit

How do I choose a size?

Measure two spots:

  • Back length: collar → tail base (your primary fit)
  • Girth: the widest part around the ribcage

Tip: If in between sizes, choose the larger back length. The belly band is adjustable.

Quick picks (back / girth):

  • XS — 38 cm / 42-52 cm. Breed examples: Toy Poodle, Daschund, Maltese

  • S — 44 cm / 50-64 cm. Breed examples: Toy Cavoodle, Cavalier, Small Pug.

  • M — 55 cm / 62–78 cm. Breed examples: Frenchie, Staffy, Kelpie.

  • L — 66 cm / 76–92 cm. Breed examples: English Pointer, Boxer (Lean), Setter.

  • XL — 76 cm / 88-104 cm. Breed examples: Golden Retriever (Large), Husky, GSD.

Materials & Care

Fabric
Dual-layer: Plush soft 100% cotton terry inner for absorbency, 100% cotton gingham outer for comfort & structure.

Care
• Wash: cold–warm gentle; no fabric softener (reduces absorbency)
• Dry: line or tumble low; avoid high heat
• Do not bleach

Some initial lint is normal; slight natural shrinkage may occur.

Returns, Exchanges & Faults

Change-of-mind or size exchanges:


Request within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, hair-free and odour-free, with tags/packaging. Return postage for change-of-mind is the customer’s responsibility.

Personalised / embroidered items:
Final sale unless faulty under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Faulty or incorrect items:
Email photos + order number to hello@albyandloom.com.au within 48 hours. Where a major failure exists, you can choose a refund or replacement; for minor issues we’ll repair/replace within a reasonable time.

Accepted methods

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Selected digital wallets and buy-now-pay-later options may be available at checkout.

All prices are listed in AUD. Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments. We do not store full card details.

Product Use & Safety

Designed for post-bath, beach or rain-walk drying and calm time. Supervise your dog during wear; remove before play or sleep.

No account is required to shop with us.
